As an aircraft broker, I always suggest to those wanting to buy or sell an aircraft that they seek the advice of a subject matter expert. Professional brokers are uniquely qualified to provide you with educated insight that you otherwise would not have, and can help you navigate an otherwise complex and difficult process. Those buyers and sellers that still choose to navigate the process on their own sometimes do so successfully, but often find themselves stuck in situations that could have otherwise been avoided had they listened to expert advice from the get-go.

This advice also holds true in today’s ever-changing times. It is easy to think that we always know what is best, or to listen to advice from so-called “expert” friends or colleagues, but let us be reminded that the expert advice we should all be heeding about the best ways to manage the COVID-19 pandemic going forward, is the advice of our medical experts.

Social distancing. Washing your hands. Following the continued guidance of the medical experts.

We will all be inconvenienced and impacted in various ways by the virus, but we will weather this together as long as we collectively make sacrifices towards the common good. Personally, I recently returned from travels outside the country, so I am in self-isolation per health expert recommendations. It has been fine so far, and I was quite productive over the weekend getting work done around the house that has been on my list for years. While I’m not able to visit with people for the time being, technology allows me to be fully functional and productive.

I am looking forward to business (not) as usual this week and continuing to serve our clients.

In the meantime: Social distancing. Wash your hands. Follow the continued guidance of the medical experts.
